Walter "Popeye" Knight

Walter "Popeye" Knight, age 69 of Woodhaven, Louisiana passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024.

Walter leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Debra Schaffer Knight; his children: Tanya Willians, Letanya (Carlos) Schaffer Kinchen, Leon Knighr, Sherrell Knight and Jerica (Eric) Schaffer, (8) grandchildren and (5) great-grandchildren; (3) brothers, Sonny WIllie Ross, Grant Ross and Roy Lee (Rose) Ross; and (3) sisters, Ethel B. Knight, Mary Jenkins and Leatha Pearl Knight.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Clarence and Lula B. Knight, his grandson, Terrian "TJ" Williams; his great-grandson, Alandis Schaffer Reed, and his sisters, Lula Mae Knight and Virgie Knight.
