Walter Blanchard Orman III, aged 87, passed away peacefully at his home in Slidell, Louisiana surrounded by his family on April 4, 2023.
Walter was born on January 22, 1936 in New Orleans, LA. He was a life long resident of Slidell and was retired from Lockheed Martin New Orleans where he was a Weld Supervisor. He was an avid Outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Walter is survived by his wife of 67 years Emma Adela Orman (née Danner), daughter Sherrie (Bryan) Green, granddaughter Athena (Richard) Massett, and great-grandson Connor Blanchard Massett. He is predeceased by his father Walter Blanchard Orman II, grandmother Irma Burgess Pertuit and daughter Hollie Adele Orman.
