Virginia Adams Obituary

Virginia “Bridget” Louise Lynn Tucker Adams

March 8, 1946 – May 17, 2025

Virginia “Bridget” Louise Lynn Tucker Adams, age 79, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, in Slidell, Louisiana. Born on March 8, 1946, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Bridget lived a life marked by generosity, sharp wit, and an unwavering devotion to the people she loved.

Bridget was the proud mother of three children and is survived by her beloved son, David Willsey, and daughter, Tiffanie Lee. She was a cherished grandmother to Erica Willsey, Riley Matlock, Alyssa Lee, Dylan Willsey, and Nicole Willsey, and a devoted great-grandmother to Drew Richard and Olivia Richard. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Adams, whose memory she carried close to her heart.

Bridget was a woman of intellect and determination, a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana State University, and a dynamic businesswoman who made her mark in the world of sales and hospitality as the owner of the Porthole Lounge. She never met a stranger, and her warmth drew people to her wherever she went. Her curious mind and love for knowledge were constants in her life—she had a passion for reading, solving brain games, and staying sharp, often proudly reminding others of her intelligence.

But above all, Bridget’s heart belonged to her family. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she never hesitated to show up for them with fierce love, encouragement, and unwavering support. Her favorite sayings, “That’s what God pays me for” and “Who loves you best?” perfectly captured her spirit—a woman who gave freely, laughed deeply, and loved without condition.

Bridget’s kindness, generosity, and unforgettable presence leave a lasting legacy. She will be remembered for her radiant smile, her open arms, and the way she made everyone feel like family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you share a story, a smile, or an act of kindness in Bridget’s honor—just as she would have wanted
