Tyler M.S. Harris is the son of Tameka C. Harris Magee and Henry B. Morris, both of Bogalusa,
LA. Tyler Harris was born at Lakeview Hospital in Covington, LA, but grew up in Biloxi, MS, as
a young boy. While living there, Tyler joined the Abundant Life Evangelistic Church along with
his mother and siblings.. They later moved to Bogalusa, LA, where he joined Zion Chapel
AMEC under the leadership of Rev. James A. Alexis. Tyler knew Christ. He was brought up
learning about Christ and sang in the choir with his siblings. He would often tell his Mawmaw,
“I know Jesus. I believe in Him.” Tyler was a very respectful child but loved to make his own
decisions. He went to Bogalusa High School but received his diploma from Penn Foster
University at the age of 16. Tyler saw life in a different way. His dream was to get married, have
twins, and chastise them by putting them in the corner instead of spanking them. Tyler Harris
loved life, but God knew his future. God is wise and He never makes a mistake. Tyler M.S. Harris
