Theresa Jacobs Harry

Theresa Jacobs Harry, age 67, was born on February 16, 1958, to Stephen P. Jacobs and Josephine C. Jacobs in Delisle, Mississippi.

Theresa received her formal education at Randolph Elementary School and Randolph High School. She furthered her education at Pass Christian High. Theresa later married Clarence Harry.

Throughout her life, Theresa held many positions, including roles at Minnie’s of Lacombe, Slidell Industries, Popeyes, Lloyd’s, the St. Tammany Parish School Board, and Mike’s Seafood.

Theresa accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 67. Known affectionately as “Nanny,” she had a passion for bingo and the New Orleans Saints, and her favorite colors were black and gold.

Theresa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lester Bradley and Josephine Bradley; her parents, Josephine C. Jacobs and Stephen Jacobs; her brother, Stephen P. Jacobs Jr.; and her sister-in-law, Leona Jacobs.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Craig C. Jacobs (Colleen) of Pass Christian, MS, Monroe J. Laurent of Lacombe, LA, and Nickie D. Laurent-Clark (Milton) of Lacombe, LA. Her siblings include John Coleman of San Antonio, TX, Lester Leroy Jacobs (Pam) of Delisle, MS, Henrietta Jacobs of Lacombe, LA, and Janice (Mark) Dedeaux of Delisle, MS. Theresa is also survived by her seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
