Stedman Christopher Ducre, age 34, was born on June 15, 1989, to the union of John Jerry and Shawn Ducre in Slidell, Louisiana. Stedman received his formal education from Slidell High School in Slidell, Louisiana. Stedman, a lifelong resident of Slidell, worked at Albertsons in his early adulthood and later he devoted all his time to caring for his parents. Stedman accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and was united with Macedonia Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Dr. W. L. Russell. Stedman was an avid Sports fan. His Mark parents lovingly referred to him as “ESPN.” His favorite team was the New Orleans Saints. He was also the guru of electronics, ensuring all tDucre, and Kelvin Lee Poole; and his aunt Shirley Jean Reed. he household technology issues were handled. Although his love for sports was undeniable, his most favorite prized possession was his parents, oh how he loved them. His favorite past time was spending time with his family, especially his cousins. He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his parents John Jerry and Shawn Ducre; his godbrothers Elijah Manual and Emmitt Smith; his godsisters Jessica Barnes, Julian Cyprian, and Kaylor Ducre; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Wilma and Velita Poole, and Joseph and Lorean Ducre; his uncles Richard, Jeffrey, Darryl and Mark Ducre, and Kelvin Lee Poole; and his aunt Shirley Jean Reed.
