Roland Charles Lancon, Sr.

In loving memory of Roland Charles (RC) Lancon, Sr., entered into internal rest on the 2nd day of February, 2021, born in Lydia, Louisiana on August 16, 1938 to the late Charles and Valerie Hebert Lancon.  He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Susan Fitch Lancon, his children, Kenny Pommier, Pamela Lancon Shepherd and her husband, Salvador Shepherd, Sr. and Roland Charles (Ronnie) Lancon, Jr. and his wife Karen Williams Lancon.
               Preceded in death by son, W. Jean Pommier, by brothers, Hilaire, Howard, Armond, and Herbert, and by sisters, Loraine, Ada and Melba.  Survived by sister, Vee Lancon Martin.  He is also survived by 8 grandchildren (Chauntelle, Kasie, Kristie, James, Sal Jr., Joshua, Brandon and Jeremy) and 10 great grandchildren (MacKenzie, Abigail, Kaitlyn, Joey, Kaleb, Kallie, Trey, Jordan, Cole, and  Cason) as well as a soon to be great granddaughter on the way (Théa Elizabeth) along with a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.  Beloved Husband, Brother, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather four generations as a leader of his family and will be deeply loved and missed by all.
               Funeral services will be Saturday, February 6, 2021 at St John of the Cross in Lacombe, 61030 Brier Lake Drive,  Lacombe, LA (985) 882-3779, Visitation 9:00-10:30, Rosary 10:30 to 11:00 and Service is 11:00-12:00 pm.
