Ralph Edward Darden

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-2 Ralph Edward Daren, Sr. was born September 6, 1960 to the late Charles Ernest and Katherine Bobby Jo Darden, Sr. in Springfield, Tennessee. He was the sixth of seven children. When he was age 2, the family moved to Bogalusa, Louisiana with Ralph being the baby at that time. He was called home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on January 19, 2023 at University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana at the age of 62. Ralph received his formal education at Harrison Central High School in Gulfport Mississippi. Later he moved to Houston, Texas. There he a Maintence Supervisor for several apartment complexes. a few years later, he returned to Gulfport, Ms. then to Bogalusa,La. then back to Gulfport, Ms. As you can see, Ralph had two residencies. He was never a stranger to no one. He knew lots of people and spreaded love to all. He earned the name " The Praline Candy Man," because this was his specialty. Ralph also loved and knew the Lord. When he became terminally ill, he kept the faith until the end. His memories will forever be treasured by his children; Ralph " Lil Ralph " Darden, Jr., Alice ( William, Jr. ) Croff of Gulfport, Mississippi, and Nicolas Darden of Bogalusa, Louisiana. Brothers: Raven C. Evans, Joseph Magee, Jr., Charles E. Darden, Jr. of Bogalusa, Lousisana. Sisters: Carol D. Smith, Tonia D. Collins, and Etta M. Smith of Bogalusa, Louisiana. Grandchilren: Je'naya Williams, Amilya Darden, Akeelah Darden, Alaysha Darden, Amaru Darden, Akiera Tiberg, Ka'teria Moore, Tre' Terius Moore, Alijah Croff, William Croff al of Gulfport, Mississippi. Truce Darden, Kanari Darden, and Tylan Turner of Bogalusa, Louisiana. Aunts and Uncles: Natalie ( Henry ) Killings of Carson, California and Sylvia ( Richard ) Powell of Albion, Michigan. A host of cousins, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death are his parents, Charles, Sr. and Katherine Evans Darden.
