Paul John Homrighausen

Paul John Homrighausen, Sr., born on October 31, 1956, in New Orleans, Louisiana, was born again on February 1, 2025. A lifelong resident of the New Orleans area, Paul was deeply rooted in his community and faith.

Paul is preceded in death by his father and mother, Rev. Dr. Ed and Marjorie Homrighausen. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Faith; his sons, P.J. and Joey; his daughter, Victoria; and his cherished grandchildren:  Hailie, Carrie, Isabella , Brooke, Ava, Alexis, Andrew, Nickolas, and Ashleigh. Loved great-grandson Alexander.  He is also survived by his brothers Edgar, Timothy, Philip, and James; and his sisters Lois and Lydia.

A devoted family man, Paul found immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren . He had a passion for music and singing that brought warmth to those around him. His love for attending church reflected his strong faith and commitment to his spiritual life. Known for his sense of humor and ability to light up any room he entered, Paul’s presence was a source of happiness for all who knew him.

Paul will be deeply missed by his family and friends. May the memories of his laughter and love bring comfort to those who mourn his passing.

Paul’s celebration of live will be held at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 35300 Home Estate Drive, Slidell, LA 70460 on 22 February, 2025 at 2pm.
