Marie Blackburn-Archie

On Jan 25, 2021, Marie Blackburn-Archie of Slidell, Louisiana, departed her earthly home to rest eternally in heaven with our Lord, Jesus Christ. She was 73 years old. Born on August 14, 1947 in Bogalusa, Louisiana. 
 

Marie was  a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. 
 

Her loving and precious memory will be remembered by, her husband, Alvin L. Archie; one daughter, Lateachia Victor (Leroy); one grandson, Antoine L. Robertson; great niece, Courtnee Young (Brian); devoted sister-in-law, Brenda Archie of Slidell, Louisiana; two sisters, Rosie Johnson of Bogalusa, Louisiana and Nilda Faye Mathis (William) of Dallas, Texas; a brother, Warren Blackburn of Bogalusa, Louisiana; in-laws, Dolores Archie of Slidell, Louisiana, Ervin Archie of California, Preston Archie of California, Samuel Archie (Dorothy) of Slidell, Louisiana, Elton Archie (Dolores) of Slidell, Louisiana and Linda Porter (Glen) of Slidell, Louisiana and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 
 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emery Blackburn, Sr. & Jessie Lee Blackburn; a grandmother, Rosie Bell Brown; sisters, Lillie Mae Blackburn and Emily Blackburn; brothers, Roger Blackburn, Sr., Kermit Blackburn and Emery Blackburn, Jr.; a nephew, Donald Ray Brown; brother-in-law, Glen Johnson; father-in-law, Elacey Archie, Sr.; mother-in-law, Ernestine Archie; in-laws, Elacey Archie, Jr. and James Archie.
