Louis Bruce Savoy. Jr.

Louis Bruce Savoy Jr., lovingly known as BJ, passed away peacefully on May 1,

2025.

BJ was the devoted husband of Margaret Boss and father of Alysia Savoy. He was

preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lucille Arcement Savoy and Louis Bruce

Savoy Sr., as well as his brother, Michael Savoy.

He is survived by his brother, Terrence (Terry) Savoy; his sisters, Diane Savoy

Cooper (husband Herbert "Kit") and Margaret Savoy; and a host of extended family,

friends, and fellow Tulane fans who were lucky enough to be part of his world.

BJ was a proud member of the Tulane Greenbackers and an enthusiastic part of the

Tulane baseball team grounds crew, BJ never missed a chance to show up for his

team-and his people. His deep-rooted passion for Tulane sports was only matched

by his loyalty to those he loved.

BJ's memory will live on in the roar of a Tulane crowd, the perfectly manicured

infield at Turchin Stadium, and in the hearts of those who loved him.
