Kimberly Rochelle (Burnett) Hines

Kimberly Rochelle Burnett Hines was born on July 12, 1984, to Ida Burnett Crawford and Joseph Butler in Covington, Louisiana. Kimberly received her formal education at Pearl River High School where she graduated in 2003. She furthered her education at Delgado Community College and received her degree in Nursing. She later went on to marry Osric Merrell Hines, Sr. on August 19, 2017. She worked as a travel nurse. Kimberly accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 12 and was united with Him at Little Union Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Andrew Mack. She later enjoyed Elshaddi under the leadership of Vicar Jenette Strokes until God called her to her heavenly home. She was an organizer, planner, and mother to others. Her favorite color was purple. She enjoyed cooking, planning events for family and friends, and spending time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband Osric Merrell Hines, Sr.; her children Antonae (Errol) Burnett, Ellexis Powell, Kimani Burnett, Ellis Powell, Osric Hines, Jr., Osriyana Hines, Heavyn Jones, Akelix Simmons, Angel (Darnell) Vaughn, Sherrell Martin, Da’Marcus Powell, and Jordan Owens; her grandchild Braylen Varnado; her parents Ida (Eric) Crawford and Joseph (Valerie) Butler; her grandmother Bernesteine Faciane; her brothers Kenneth Burnett, Joseph (Latoya) Miles of Slidell, LA and Terry Jones; her sisters Keeva Allanach (Donald) Paul, Karen (Roy) Burnett of Slidell, LA; Ebony Jones, Erica Jones, Akeia Jones, and Bria Brown; her godparents Janet Gaines, Marlene Applewhite, Bessie Cooper, Andre Cooper, and Darryll Robertson; her godchildren Anya Jefferson, Camille My’Eil Robinson, and Mikel Batiste; her godsisters Nerrissa (Trask) Christian, Chasity (Joseph) Wheeler, and Monica McGrew; her godbrothers Irvin Galatas and Domonic Burnett; and a host of other relatives, love ones, and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents James and Rosalie Burnett and Lucille Parker
