Justin "Pep" Antoine Faciane

Justin Antoine "Pep" Faciane, Sr. was born on January 24, 1947, in Slidell, Louisiana to Edward K.C. Faciane and Catherine Roberts Faciane.

Pep graduated from St. Tammany High School in 1965. He was a painter by trade. As a young man he worked at a slew of shipyards such as; Southern Shipyard, Boeing's, Balehi High Marine and continued at Magnum Construction LLC where he retired. He also worked offshore and was self-employed.

Pep was a beautiful soul, he never met a stranger. He had an inviting spirit. Everyone that knew him would say the same. He loved his family and friends more than anything. Family always came first, followed by camping and hunting. Justin was a member of the Rackmen Hunting Club. He loved hunting and camping. He enjoyed all his trips to Winnfield, Tinsaw, Black Creek, etc.

Pep made every occasion a party and he loved to make jokes and dance. He was known for all his iconic dance moves and his hilarious catch phrases. Everyone loved to be in his presence. He made sure everyone around him was having a great time. He was truly loved and respected by all.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward K.C and Catherine Roberts Faciane; his son, Darren "Ace" Faciane; his four brothers, Edward Jr., Nathan "Archie", Fred Sr., and Byron Faciane; his in-laws Marcelite and Leonard Dorsey; his sister inlaw Linda Faciane; precious memories will remain with his wife of 36 years, Tracey Dorsey Faciane; his daughters, Shaun (Russell) and Briana; his sons, Gregory (Carita), Delmont, Merrill (Alisa), Justin, Jr. (Elsa), Corey (Sheba), Brent, Dominique, and Nathan "Nate"; his daughter in-law, Karen Faciane; his three sisters, Judy, Verona and Vanessa Faciane all of Slidell, LA; his two brothers, Adrian "Poppa" Faciane (Vanessa) of Lacombe, LA, and Rodney "Butchie" Faciane (Monica) of Slidell, LA; his sister inlaws, Donna Faciane of Abita Springs, LA, Paula Faciane of Lacombe, LA, Shelia Parks (Mike) of Cypress, TX, Phyllis Bayona (Raymond) of Slidell, LA, Angela Landor (Jeff), Rachel Harris (Mark) of Las Vegas, NV, Janice Ducre (Bryan) of Slidell, LA, and Julia Dorsey of Slidell, LA; his brother in-laws, Cary Dorsey (Robin) of Slidell, LA, Norman Dorsey (April) of Lacombe, LA, and Leonard Dorsey of Lacombe,LA; and a host of 18 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
