Julia "Angel" Parker was born on September 10, 1969, to the union of Lula B. Oliver and Matthew Parker, Sr., in Hammond A. Julia attended Hammond High School in Hammond LA. Her pastimes were spent hanging out on Old Baton Rouge Hwy (OB) with her friends. She was a loving person that never met a stranger. She took care of her daughter, Sam; you did not see one without the other. She had a special bond with her aunts and uncles; they were raised like siblings and a few of them even stayed with her at times. Her calling was caring for others as she served taking care of an elderly.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her daughters, Samitha Parker, Ebony Parker and Trasena Coraniece Parker (CJ), her son, Tywayne Marquis Parker, Sr.; her grandchildren; Koby, Ty-Rain, Brayden, Bryan, Corilenn, Cornelius, Jr., Tylah, and Tywaine, Jr,; her siblings, Lisa Oliver Brown (Sammie), Matthew Anthony Parker (Janice), Howard Parker, Michelle Jackson (Eric), Linda Sibley (Vernell), Robert Badon and Michael Badon; her great aunts, Bessie Poole of Chicago, IL and Josephine Byrd of Brookhaven, MS; her aunts, Charlestine Jackson of Mccomb, MS, Carla Short-Rhines (William) of Houston, TX, Agnes Parker, Ola Mae Parker, Lillie Keith, Diane Felder and Annie Mae McGowan; her uncles, Charles McGee of Brookhaven, MS, Johnny McGee, Willie McGee, Michael McGee (Welba) of Beaumont, TX, Joseph McGee, Ernest Chapman, Jr., Rev. Charlie Reed, Jr., (Michelle) of McComb, MS, Eli Parker (Peggy) and Ricky Parker; her childhood friend, Carol Jones and a host of other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents, Lula B. Oliver and Matthew Parker, Sr., her maternal grandparents, Lula Mae Byrd, Charlie Reed, Sr., and A.D. Oliver; her paternal grandparents, Margarite and Frank Parker, Sr.; her son, Allen Jerome Norman; her uncles, J.C. Oliver, Jessie Oliver, Lee Edward McGee, Freddy Chapman, Frank Parker, Jr., Edward Parker and Jospeh Parker and her aunts, Patricia Chapman, Bobbie Parker and Julia Burton.
