Though his time with us was brief, the life of Josaiah James Stewart Washington was deeply meaningful and is forever imprinted on the hearts of all who loved him.
Born on April 11, 2025, to his devoted parents, Isaiah Washington and Ja'Keyra Stewart, Josaiah brought with him a light that touched everyone around him.
In just a few short weeks, Josaiah reminded us of the preciousness of life and the beauty found in even the smallest moments — the warmth of a sleeping smile, the gentleness of his tiny fingers wrapped around ours, and the peaceful quiet of being close to him. He taught us the power of love without words and the strength of connection that surpasses time.
Josaiah’s life was a gift. His presence brought families closer, reminded us to treasure each day, and filled our hearts with both joy and a longing that will always remain. He was and will always be deeply loved by his parents, family, and all who awaited his future with hope and excitement.
As we release him into God’s eternal care, we carry with us the sacred memory of his life — short in days, infinite in love. His light will forever shine in the hearts of those who knew him, and his spirit will never be forgotten.
