Jeanette Maxine (Wright) Decossas

Jeannette, 83, of St. Bernard, LA passed away peacefully at 4:11 A.M, Wednesday, June 18, 2025 surrounded by two daughters, Cheryl and Mellisa and her two granddaughters, Leanne and Lynsey.

She was a native of Port Baree, LA and lived in New Orleans and St. Bernard Parish (Chalmette) most of her life.

Jeannette worked at Chalmette General Hospital and Tulane Medical Center. She was a Respiratory Therapist. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, decorating and she had a keen eye for fashion.

She is survived by her two daughters and one son: Cheryl Snow Dippold (Marty), Melissa Snow McDaniel (Michael) and Ronald Snow, Jr.; her nine grandchildren: Leanne Levron Hawkes (Jason), Levan Levron, Jr (Jaelle), Lynsey Levron, Robert Agnelly  III, Derrick Cabellero, Nora Cincotta (Joel), Ronald Snow III, Marty Dippold, Jr. (Mindy) and Michael Dippold; (16) great grandchildren, (3) great-great grandchildren; three nieces, Carolyn LeJune Duhon, Susan LeJune and Wanda Deroven and her best friend, Bonnie Roselli.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Amynthe Leger and her father, Oscar Wright of Port Barre, LA; and her three sisters, Ruby Soileau, Mable LeJune and Ella Miller.

A private celebration of life will be set at a later date.
