James Henderson Anderson Jr

James Henderson Anderson Jr was born on January 4, 1970 in Natchez, MS to the late James Henderson Anderson Sr and Mary Thompson Anderson. At an early age he was baptized at Star Hill C.M.E. Church. He departed this earthly life on Sunday April 16, 2023 at his home in Marrero, LA to join his Lord and Savior. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather (Pap), son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to all he came in counter with. He will be truly missed. We are blessed to have all the good memories which we’ll cherish forever. He was preceded in death by his father: James Anderson Sr, his Grandparents: Davis and Etherine Anderson, Leonard and Mavis Thompson, Father-in-Law: Albert Dupaquier, One Nephew: Shadel Anderson Jr, One Niece: Nevaeh Marie Anderson, One Aunt: Gwenderine Anderson, Five Uncles: Marvin, James, Gary, Jerry, and Stanley Thompson. He leaves to cherish his memories, his Wife: Shannon Anderson, Mother: Mary Anderson, Mother in-Law: Roxanne Dupaquier, Daughter: Semaj Anderson, Sons: Darius Anderson Sr, Keanan Yates, La’Darius Swan, Kendall (Brionne) Dupaquier, Rodney (Brittany) Leo, God-Son: Ahmad “Papa Dot” Lewis, Sisters: Petrina Thompson, Cassandra Blair, Brothers: Eric (Shawanda) Anderson, Shadel (Lynn) Anderson, Tyrone (Alicia) Anderson, Jerry Anderson, Grandchildren: Darius Anderson Jr, Khodi Dupaquier, Kendall Dupaquier Jr, Emmaline Leo, Amaya Leo, God-Grandson: DeJon “Papa” Thompson Jr, and a host of Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, cousins, friends, and plenty brothers/sisters from another mother it’s to many of you to acknowledge but just know you are special to us too.
