Isabell Victoria Ginn Jenkins was born the youngest of three children to the late Trobie Ginn, Sr. and Mary V. Ginn on March 12, 1937 in Slidell, Louisiana.
Isabell (Bell) Jenkins accepted Christ at a very early age in her life. She was baptized at Hartzell and excepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. Isabell graduated from St. Tammany High School in the class of 1956.
In 1958, Claude R. Jenkins and Isabell Ginn Jenkins were married and to that union two children were born: Darrell J. Jenkins, Sr. and Suzette E. Jenkins.
Isabell held many job titles and duties. She was employed by Mr. Peter Schneider III and Elizabeth Schneider for thirty-two years. She raised the couple's three children:
Peter IV, Christopher, and Kathleen Schneider.
She enjoyed going to family outings, parades, working puzzle books, and going out to eat (putting her feet under someone else's table).
On Thursday, January 15, 2026, God saw fit to call Isabell home to a peaceful rest with the Lord. Preceding her in death her husband, Claude R. Jenkins, her mother and father, Mary and Trobie Ginn, Sr., her two brothers, Robert Davillier and Trobie Ginn, Jr.
Isabell leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted daughter, Suzette E.
Jenkins, son, Darrell J. Jenkins, Sr. (Patrice), one grandson, Darrell J. Jenkins, Jr.
(Roxanne), one granddaughter, Olivia Jenkins, and one great-grandson, Devin D.
Jenkins, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also, some very close and dear friends: Mrs. Althea Cantrell, Mrs. Mary Frances Alfred, Mrs. Myrtle smith, and Mrs. Bonnie Johnson.
