Glendell Miller, aged 65, was born on October 10, 1959, to Willie Steve Abram and Erma Miller Javery in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana. It was here that his journey began, surrounded by the rich culture and history of the area.
Glendell pursued his education at Slidell High School in Slidell, Louisiana, where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors. After completing his schooling, he obtained his plumbing license, showcasing his dedication to mastering his trade. He married the love of his life, Acquanette German, and together they built a home in Slidell, where they shared many cherished moments.
Throughout his diverse and fulfilling career, Glendell wore many hats. He was a skilled plumber, a talented mechanic, and a handyman extraordinaire, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His work was not just a profession; it was an expression of his commitment to serving others.
From a young age, Glendell accepted Christ as his Savior, which was a pivotal moment in his life. He first joined Macedonia Baptist Church, where his faith began to grow. Later, he became a valued member of Christian Love Church, where he served enthusiastically as a greeter.
Glendell leaves behind a legacy filled with love and cherished memories. He is survived by his devoted wife, Acquanette German; his brothers, Steve Abram, Willie B. Abram, and Bruce Javery; his sisters, Margaret Donaldson Galatas, Sandra Javery Holman, and Kathleen Javery; his uncles, Emanuel Miller (fondly known as Tip) and Samuel Miller (affectionately called Sammy); along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Erma Miller Javery; his father, Willie Steve Abram; his maternal grandparents, Manuel and Mary Miller; his paternal grandparents, Leonard and Rose Abram; his brothers, George Javery, Jr. and Michael Javery; his sister, Sheryl Javery; and a host of uncles and aunts, including Arthur, Joseph, Robert, Morris, Sr., Myra Etta, Virginia, Berthadine, Gloria, Mabel, Mary Helen, and Ethel Leggett, who all welcomed him with open arms into the eternal embrace of family.
