Gaston "Sonny" Lee Jones

Gaston “Sonny” Lee Jones, age 35 of Mandeville, Louisiana passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024. Sonny was born on December 14, 1988 in Sylacauga, Alabama.

 Sonny is survived by his fiancé Stacey Huber and daughter Savannah Jones; Parents Andy and Karen Jones; Sisters Jennifer Kirkland (Brent), and Kimberly Butler, and Brother Jonathon Jones; several nieces and nephews, countless family, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents C.L. & Martha Reeves and Edith Patterson.

Sonny was an amazing father, partner, son, brother, and friend. He loved all sports, but his heart laid with Auburn. Sonny was always looking for conversation with anyone who was willing to chat, he never met a stranger. Sonny was very thoughtful and loved everyone around him with his whole heart. He was huge advocate for his daughter Savannah. Sonny adored his fiancé Stacey, so much that everyone around them could see the love they shared. 

He was always happy, smiling, laughing, & joking. He was filled with love and joy. He was loved by many and will forever be missed. In the words of Sonny WAR DAMN EAGLE.

Sonny will be cremated with a celebration of life in Denham Springs, LA and Sylacauga, AL to be scheduled in upcoming days.
