Garrick Anthony Rucker Sr., “George the Plumber”, 67, of Ponchatoula, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024. He was born October 16. 1956, in New Orleans, La. IN 1977, Mr. Rucker married Valerie Camp, in Mandeville, La.
He is survived by his wife- Valerie, children- Garrick Anthony Rucker, jr. (Jenna) Bryan Paul Rucker
Valerie M. Rucker. Grandchildren Ernie Henderson, Valerie Henderson Joshua Henderson Nathaniel Henderson, Maleah Rucker, Dylan Rucker, Carter Rucker, Hailey Strickland (Jesse) Savannah Fontenot, Laney Fontenot. Great- Grandchildren, Paisley and Ben Strickland. Brothers, Bolling( Judy) Rucker, Brent Rucker, Shawn Rucker, Aaron Rucker, Randy Rucker, Dean Rucker, and a sister Darlene (Richard “Logo”) Logothety.

Mr. Rucker is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and cousins. Garrick was preceded in death by his parents Bolling Rucker Sr. and Marie Stella Bourgeois. A sister Sharon Taylor, a brother, Mark Rucker and a grandson- Kayven Rucker.

He will be missed by many who knew and loved him.
