On October, 16, 1997, God blessed his parents, Claude Felton, Jr. and Sharlita Cousin Umukoro with their son, Emmanuel Cousin (Felton). On April 23, 2020, Emmanuel entered into eternal rest.
Emmanuel graduated from Sam Houston High School in Arlington, Texas . Football was Emmanuel’s passion, and in his words “I was a beast at it”, just like with his music. He was inspired by music through his brothers, which allowed him to create his own. Emmanuel was a master of many talents, learning to play the cello was one of them. He was a writer and produced his own music. The cello was his first instrument.
Emmanuel was preceded in death by his great-great grandmother, Annie Mae Grier; great grandparents, Wylie Samuel James and Fannie Mae Smith and Philip and Jean LaCoste-Falls; two great aunts, Wylie Mae Smith and Henrietta Carter and one uncle, Kenneth LaCoste.
Emmanuel leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Sharlita Cousin Umukoro; his father, Claude Felton, Jr. ; his siblings: Joshua Reed, Kyle Cousin and Wilfred Cousin, III, Matthew and Andrew Prejean; his grandparents, Delores Smith, Arnold Reed, Paulette LaCoste and Claude Felton, Sr. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
