Ellen Janett Bodden was born on September 7, 1944 on the island of Roatan in Honduras to Edna and Earl Bodden. She moved to the United States in 1980 and resided in New Orleans. She worked as a baker and enjoyed baking and decorating cakes for family and friends throughout the years. When Ellen wasn’t cooking or baking she liked to read, watch wheel of fortune, talk on the phone and cheer on the New Orleans Saints. Her favorite past time by far was spending time with her grandchildren and great grand babies.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her son, Lorriner Bodden; daughter in law Issis Bodden; daughter Sharlina Green Bodden; son in law Akbar Zarbakhsh; her grandchildren Kailani Bodden, Ethan Bodden, Yolany Bodden, Danielle Hernandez, Ashley Hernandez, Jeffery Riley, Shaina Lowe, and Cameron Zarbakhsh; her great grand babies Ellie Dimarco, Ada Hernandez and Lilly Lowe; brothers Harley Bodden, Steve Bodden, Eugene Bodden and Felix Bodden; Sister Azalea Wiggins; sister in law Olene Bodden along with many other relatives, loved ones, and friends.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Edna and Earl Bodden; daughters Valerie Zarbakhsh, Edna Hernandez and Vanessa Bodden; her brother Earl bodden and sisters Ethel Bodden and Nellie McNab.
