Debra Ann Martin was born on August 23, 1957 to the union of Name(s) Elouise and Rigley L. Martin, Ir. in New Orleans, LA. Debra received her formal education in the St. Tammany Parish School System in Covington, LA. She furthered her education at Delgado Community College where she earned a degree in Cosmetology. She was married to Lawrence Berry and resided in Covington, LA, New Orleans, LA, and Pensacola, FL. She was employed by St. Tammany Parish Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist. Debra A. Martin accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. She loved dancing, music, and cooking. She had a personal ministry of delivering juice to the sick throughout the community. She prided herself as being, and she was, the “number 1” grandchild of Rigley and Mamie Matin. She leavesto cherish her memories her husband, Lawrence Berry of Hammond, LA; her children, Chicula Berry of Covington, LA and Davin Navarre of Denver, CO; her grandchildren, Ashton Berry, Arielle Berry, and Debra Stallworth all of Covington, LA; her great-grandchildren, Kamaria Warren, Kairo Warren, and Kalani Warren all of Covington, LA; her grandmother, Mamie Martin of Covington, LA; three brothers, Michael (Kim) Martin, Ceaser (Lezette) Martin, and Kevin (Theodorsha) Harper; one sister, Dinah (Alvin) Christy; a special cousin who was more like a sister, Diane Hiutchinson of New Orleans, LA; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elouise Baham Lee; her father, Rigley L. Martin, Jr.; hersisters, Adriene Randolph and Faye Howard; her grandmother, Henrietta Dillard; and her grandfather, Rigley L. Martin, Sr.
