Caroyl Victory (Nelson) Zulli

Caroyl V. Nelson Zulli, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother went to be with the Lord, at the age of 81 on Sunday January 7, 2024. Caroyl was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Carriere, MS. She graduated from Academy of Holy Angels, New Orleans, LA and was an alumna. She is survived by a son Darryl Gilford (Michelle), daughters, Vicki Spellman (John), Karen Zulli (Paula), Janice Griffin and her beloved dog Baby. She had 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald A. Zulli, parents, Forest C. Nelson, Sr. & Edna Hattier Nelson, one brother, Forest C. Nelson, Jr., and two sisters, Jackie Kellogg, & Lolita “Tootie” Nelson. We wish to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Slidell Memorial Hospital for their kindness and care towards our mother during her time there. A private service will be held by the family at St. Roch Cemetery #2 in New Orleans, LA.
