Bert Anthony Taylor, Sr. passed away Friday, May 5, 2023 at the age of 70, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Shelly Taylor. Son of the late Mary & Clarence Taylor Sr. Father of Bert Jr., Jill, Gabriella (Anthony II), Tysie (Tim), Angela, Trenique, Melvin (Danesha) and Marvin (Tasha). Brother of Alvin Sr., Eleria, Leander, Almeda, Cindy, the late Clarence Jr., Elaine, Stella, Marcel and Bridgette. Brother-in-law of Joseph, Crystal, John Sr., Wanda, Gilbert (Faye), Louis (Cynthia), the late Claude and Dale. Godson of Eugene Sapp and the late Celina Davis, Grandfather of Christopher, Branson, Kain, Cade Sr. (Emma), Xavier (Extina), Grace, Emanuel, Taine’, Marvin, Malachi, Gabriella, Autumn and Anthony III; Great-grandfather of Cade Jr., Ezekiel, Kaylani and Amira.
Relatives and friends of the family, pastor and members of Zion Hill Christian Church of Plaquemines Parish, El-Bethel Worship Center of Slidell, La and all Plaquemines, St. Tammany and Lafourche Parishes churches are invited to attend viewing on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Affordable Funeral Home 28105 U.S. Hwy 190, Lacombe, La 70445.
