Annabell Amos, 84 years old, was born on February 9, 1940, to the union of Cornelius Vander and Gustavia Palmer in Lacombe, LA. Annabell received her formal education from the St. Tammany School System. She retired from Southeast Hospital. Annabell accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was united with Macedonia Baptist Church. She loved shopping, bingo, and helping others.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her children, Dwan Vander of New Iberia, LA, Glenda (Odis) Brown of Fort Worth, TX, and Shannon (Chadricka) Amos of Lacombe, LA; her grandchildren Cohen (Latasha) Vander of Lacombe, LA, Shameeka (Dwayne) Bernard of Lacombe, LA, Nakeisha (Devin) Youman of Fort Worth, TX, Dominique Vander, Cherice Amos, Chantelle Amos, Shannon Amos, Markell Powell, and Pierre (Amanda) Clark; her step-grandchildren Odis (Krystal) Williams, DeMarkeith Wilson, and Joann (Bruno) Bruton; her 24 great-grandchildren; her great-great-grandson Kyison Brown; her brother Leo (Anjo) Casnave; her sister Irma Casnave; her nieces Donnis (Reginald) McIntyre and Shonda Casnave; and her nephew Donavon (Amber) Casanave.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Orica and Ezekiel Palmer; her parents Cornelius Vander and Gustavia Palmer; her daughter Denise Vander; and her brothers Michael Vander and Leon Casnave.
